Verizon and AT&T are delivering 5G (C-band) over the whole of the United States, bringing high-speed connectivity to locations that had previously been stuck in the 4G era. According to Newswatch TV, this should also improve service for individuals using "5G," which doesn't appear to be much different from 4G. While the extended range has been long overdue, the deployment hasn't been without issues. According to NewsWatch tv AMC, tamed airlines are concerned about 5G waves interfering with their planes' navigation systems. Because the frequency used by C-band is identical to the frequency used by altimeters in many aircraft, this fear is not unjustified.
